This semester, we have approached the question of sustainability in urban areas from a number of different angles. Among other things, we have discussed the built environment (& how to green it), pollution (& how to avoid it), biodiversity (& how to protect it), energy (& how to renew it), water (& how to conserve it), waste (& how to reduce it), and much, much, much more. This reflection paper assignment is an opportunity for you to take what you’ve learned in our class and use that knowledge to prioritize a specific urban sustainability policy issue. Of course, many different issues may all be deserving of our attention, but for the purposes of this assignment, you must choose just one, the one that you – yes, you! – consider to be the most urgent, the most important. If you like, the one that occupies the forefront of your mind. Specifically, I would like you to please: tell me (and the rest of the class) what you consider to be the single most important (actual or potential) urban sustainability policy (be specific). discuss what you consider to be the most important way that change could come to that situation/issue/policy. support your argument(s) with at least one citation or real-world example. Style/references/more: Reflection papers should be properly formatted in APA style using in-text citations where appropriate. For full credit, you must:include a minimum of 600 words in the body of your text (not including headings, titles, references, reference page, etc.)
include at least one (1) properly cited reference that is not the textbook.
cite all of your references, including the textbook (if you used it).
include a list of all references used on a separate page at the end.
