favorite pieces of writing that you have done in the past, and
write a short essay of about 1-1 ½ pages, double spaced. In the
essay, you should cover the following points:
• The type of writing it was and the circumstances in which you
wrote it
• How you wrote it (imagination, research, analysis of
something) and how long it took you to write
• Whether it was open or closed form or a mixture and in what
ways
• Why you liked this piece of writing and if you generally like
the kind of writing it was and why
