Choose a controversial, debatable issue and have the issue approved by your instructor. Develop an argument in a 7-8 page essay in which you provide a debatable claim at the end of the introduction, write well-developed body paragraphs exploring the issue, and incorporate sources to support your claim and advance your argument. Depending upon the nature of the issue you are exploring, use peer-reviewed, full-text articles from professional journals found through data bases in the library. Use current MLA documentation to cite your sources parenthetically and provide a Works Cited page at the end of your essay. You must include one or two opposing views, acknowledge, and respond to them. This essay requires a minimum of ten outside sources. Use Times New Roman in 11 or 12 point font.
