My background:
I am currently a school social worker and am looking to transition into teaching. I need to articulate my reasons for this career change and how my experience in social work has influenced my desire to become a teacher. Previously, I worked in a primary school where my responsibilities included supporting students and parents, providing counseling, and addressing individual needs, particularly for students with special educational needs (SEN). I am currently a SEN assistant at a primary school, where I support classroom teaching, assist student in class, etc. I am applying Mathematics as my major in the teaching program. ( I have an Economics bachelor’s degree)
