This assignment is about comparing and contrasting two different religions.

Students will write a 3 page (minimum) essay, Works Cited/References as an additional page, that compares one Eastern and one Western Religion. Support your essay with at least 3 sources.
The purpose of the paper is to simply draw comparisons and contrasts between religions, not to elevate one religion over another.
Students will focus on 3 topics to compare and contrast in their essay, which might include:
History
Rules
Rituals
Suffering
Soteriological beliefs
Afterlife beliefs
Views towards women
