Reflection #2 gives you the freedom to share a review on a speech you have listened to recently. This could be something you experienced in person, on TV, or online. Examples might be a speaker at a campus event, or a presentation in a meeting, or a public figure on TV, a professor or student presenter in a class, or an interesting Ted-Talk or a speech you found on Youtube, or even a sermon/faith message, etc… In your reflection:
Tell me about the speaker, the setting, the target audience and the purpose of the speech.
Share your opinion on the overall effectiveness of the message for you as a listener.
Describe what elements made the speech effective or ineffective. Consider the content (ie was it interesting, accurate, how was it organized) and the delivery (both verbal, and nonverbal elements). Would recommend this speech to others? Why or why not.
