(all approximately 23 minutes without commercials). OR, you can find the Up First podcast via this linkLinks to an external site.. (Note: Sunday Up First podcasts are deep dives on a single topic, which won’t work for this assignment.)
Write two to three paragraphs on what you found in terms of news values. (See the video linked above if you haven’t already watched it!). You CAN write in first person for this assignment (I, me, my, etc.).
Be specific for your grader and myself:
What were some of the news topics/stories discussed on the broadcast?
What news values did you find?
Did stories have multiple news values? (Likely YES!) If so, give details.
Any other thoughts or observations watching the broadcast or listening to the podcast.
